Note #160: Light at the end of the tunnel (2026.1.31)
This is going to be a very short note today, as I still have work to do before the day is over. I do generally try to post something at least once a month, though, and here we are at the end of January already. It seems like 2026 just started—I actually caught myself writing the date as 2025 the other day—and already we’re a month through.
I think part of the reason time has flown by is because I have been very busy with a big project, especially in the last couple of weeks. It feels like I’ve been frantically laying down track in front of a speeding train, as I have a deadline to meet. But the end is now in sight. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. At first I wondered if it was an oncoming train, but no, it’s the end.
It will be nice to come home in the evening and not have to get back to work again after dinner. In the meantime, though, I need to get as much done today as I can so I can finish up tomorrow. So: Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more. See you in February.
