Note #60: Surviving (2011.3.16)
This is going to be a very brief note. I’m posting primarily because I haven’t written anything here in over a month, and even though I am in the thick of something right now, things are likely to get worse before they get better. Since I’m certainly not going to have any more time than I have right now over the next few weeks, I might as well write something today.
The new semester has started—it’s hard to believe I will be wrapping up the third week tomorrow. How time flies when you have a deadline.
Last night I felt like I was coming down with a cold, and I felt pretty rotten in class this afternoon, but not too long after I started feeling better. I still feel rather foggy, but I feel better than I did, so I’m hoping I dodged a bullet with this one. I really can’t afford to be sick right now—if I do get sick, I have no choice but to jam an IV with a vitamin C drip into my arm and push through the illness. There is just no other option. So here’s to hoping.
Well, I think that will about do it. Yes, I am still alive. Things are going fairly well, but life is not easy at the moment. That’s about as much detail as I want to go into right now. When this is all done, I will have quite a bit to write about, and I’ll fill you in on what’s been going on the past few months. In the meanwhile, stay sharp.
