This may very well be the shortest note I have ever written here on Liminality. I will be leaving for the airport in ten minutes, which means my deadline for posting the third entry of the “storm of posts” I had promised is now gone with the wind. As time went on, it became clear that there was no way I was going to have time to write the post—I did not, in fact, even have time to write that I wasn’t going to have time.
So, I’ll be back in about a week or so with some stories to tell. The pictorial treatment of the new Namdaemun will have to wait until then, as well other things that I have wanted to write about. For now, it’s off to the airport, then to Hong Kong, and then to London... for the first time in nearly twenty years. I think I’ve been too stressed to even be excited, but now that it’s time to head out the door, I can finally look forward to this.
See you soon.
