This is a two-story pavilion beneath which visitors pass in order to enter Buseok Temple. The plaque beneath the roof says “Bonghwangsan Buseoksa,” or “Mt. Bonghwang Buseok Temple.” Buseok Temple was built in 676 by Uisang and is where the Flower Garland Sect (Hwaeomjong) originated in Korea. The various buildings have been rebuilt and repaired over the years.
