For dinner that evening we had boiled chicken, which is chicken with glass noodles and various other vegetables cooked in a soy sauce-based broth. I don’t know if this photo really does it justice, but it was good and very filling (it was a lot of food for just the two of us, especially when you consider the rice and side dishes that went along with it).
