Thailand, Part 3: Ao Phang-Nga

This photo was taken on Ko Phing Khan, better known to tourists as “James Bond Island.” It was billed as the highlight of the trip, but to be perfectly honest it was way too commercialized, and there were far too many tour groups roaming around. I thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the tour, and would have been perfectly happy to give this one a miss, but we did get to see the background for the movie “The Man with the Golden Gun,” so I suppose that’s something. The tourist duty is to have your picture taken against the backdrop of the small island in the harbor (it looks like a spike dropped out of the sky), and we did so, but I’ve opted to include a more subtle version in this set.
