I don’t know what this bug is (I say that a lot in this gallery, in case you hadn’t noticed), but it looks pretty cool. The little green things in front of it are some sort of plant parasite. They swarm onto plants and suck the moisture out of them until they dry up and die (as you can see here). They particularly like our day lilies, and I have to go out to scrape them off with a stick.
