This is the butterfly from the previous photo (see the caption for that photo for an explanation of why I think this is a butterfly and not a moth). The previous shot was handheld, but after taking it (and a few others), I ran inside to get my tripod and took this shot from above. It came out much clearer, and the AWB was on target this time (I hadn’t yet learned how to manually set the white balance at this point). You can see the antennae (and everything else) in a lot more detail here.
This guy stayed still for quite a while, actually. Apparently he was still in shock from whatever secret was whispered to him in the previous picture.
