Another tiger butterfly (see the caption for the previous photo for an explanation of this term) perched on an unopened sunflower. Only when I had picked these two shots (this and the previous photo) out of the myriad I took that day did I realize that they had similar compositions. For some reason, I like having the butterfly in the lower right corner looking off to the upper left. I even tried flipping this one horizontally to add some variety, but it didn’t look as nice. Maybe this is because I knew what the original looked like, or maybe there’s another reason that has something to do with the way my brain is wired....
