Translation Award Ceremony
Finally, my turn to give my speech. I had it all printed out on a piece of paper in front of me, so all my effort went into trying not to stumble over my words. I managed not to chew up my tongue and spit it out onto the podium, so I guess I was fairly successful. After the ceremony a number of people told me that my speech was the most touching, which was nice.
