Busan, 2007
In January 2007, my wife and I went down to Busan for a wedding. I wouldn’t go down to Busan for just any wedding, but it was one of my juniors from school and we are pretty close. His family chartered a bus to drive people down from Seoul, and we got up early to head into Seoul to catch that ride. The bus left for Seoul again shortly after the wedding, but we felt it would be a waste to leave again so soon, seeing as how rarely we get to Busan (it’s the farthest major city from Seoul in Korea, not counting Jeju). We booked a room in a hotel on the beach and decided to relax and enjoy ourselves for the rest of the day and part of the next.
