Lunch was next, consisting of a variety of sashimi (hoe—pronounced “hwae”—in Korean). Pictured here is a type of spoon worm known as “gaebul” in Korean. The literal meaning of the term is “dog penis,” and it should be obvious how it got the name. Incidentally, the worm is rather tasty. You can’t see it in the photo, but these are still fresh and writhing around.
