There were a number of things about our trip to the States this time around that were special. One of these special things that we had planned was a trip to Cape Cod with my parents. I figured that it was about time we finally did the “filial son” thing and treat my parents to a little vacation. It was only three days and two nights, and we did make my dad drive there and back, but otherwise I think we had a good time. It’s been quite a while since we’ve taken a family trip, and this was the first time that I was the “responsible adult” of the group.
