Thailand, Part 4: Chiang Mai
After dinner we went outside to see a number of folk dances. This is a scene from the Kinggala dance, which is supposedly based on an old Shan myth. The dancer to the left is portraying the king of the birds.
That was all the info I could get on this dance, which is a shame—I would have loved to have heard the myth the dance was based on.
