Experimental

In the evening, we were walking back toward Gwanghwamun Gate from where we had had dinner, and we crossed the street in front of this guard tower that was once part of Gyeongbokgung Palace. During the Japanese colonial period, though, the palace was “renovated” and this tower ended up in the middle of an intersection.

I took this shot while waiting for the light to change. I didn’t have a tripod, so I set the camera down on a bench and jammed a finger or two underneath it to angle it upward. This is a half-second exposure.
