Ho-Am Art Museum Garden
These crocks stood in rows behind the main museum building. A scene like this is common in traditional (and even not-so-traditional) Korean homes. The crocks store soy sauce, soy bean paste (collectively known as “jang,” which is a real bugger to translate), and other seasonings.
