Hwaseong Fortress in Suwon
Our tour of Hwaseong Fortress began at Dongjangdae, the Eastern Command Post. In front of the command post is an archery range that is still used today. In fact, you can normally get free archery lessons here, but being a holiday they weren’t offering the lessons on the day we went. The man closest to the camera, though, was kind enough to not only let me take pictures of him while he shot, but he let Hyunjin pose with the bow as well (we’ll get to that photo in a moment).
