Hwaseong Fortress in Suwon
This is the second element of the Memorial Tower in the previous photo. While the wings of the monument remind the viewer of the passion of the movement itself, the tower soaring upward instills a sense of hope in the future, allowing the viewer to rise above the struggles depicted below and see forward to liberation. I know that might sound a little effusive, but I was moved by the monument and tried to capture that in these two photos.
