Jeju Island Trip: Fall 2005

For dinner that night we went to a restaurant down the street from our minbak. I had abalone porridge, which is pictured here. Real abalone porridge, I learned, is cooked with every part of the abalone (i.e., including the guts), giving it its yellow color. It was very tasty. I’ve had abalone porridge before, but this was definitely the best.
