Jeju Island Trip: Fall 2005

At the end of our hike was the Witsae Peak shelter, seen here on the left. The rail to the right is for carts carrying goods up and down the mountain, but I don’t know if it is still in operation. As you can see, the fog finally lifted and we could see some blue sky, but the clouds swept across the land like tatters of ghostly cloth.

I like this photograph a lot. I don’t know what it is, but I have a thing for photographs of roads or paths, and the environment here is so evocative. Anyway, I like this photograph so much that I decided to turn it into a wallpaper—the first Liminality wallpaper since I put an end to the “wallpaper a month” experiment. Hope you enjoy it.
