Thailand, Part 2: Ko Phi Phi
Ko Phi Phi as actually two islands—Ko Phi Phi Don (where we were staying) and Ko Phi Phi Leh. There is no accommodation on Ko Phi Phi Leh, but many tours take you around it. It is also where “The Beach” was filmed (although I haven't seen the movie yet). This side of the island ended in abrupt cliffs that fell straight into the water, like someone had cut the island in half with a huge knife. I’ve never seen anything like it.
