I grew up going to Bear Mountain, and when we visit my parents in the summer we sometimes go back there. We went back this time as well, and we had a little picnic, did a little walking around, and drove up to the summit (that’s Perkins Memorial Tower in the background right). Unfortunately, we were a bit too earlier for blueberries this year—the summit is absolutely overrun with blueberry bushes, but there were almost none that were ripe.
