This is my parents’ cat, Princess. She used to be called “Spartan’s girlfriend,” Spartan being another tabby owned by my youngest brother Matt, who now lives out in Texas. Interestingly, I am incredibly allergic to Princess, but I don’t appear to be allergic to Spartan (I learned this when I stayed with Matt briefly on the way to and from the 2014 AFS annual meeting last November).
