The Strand Bookstore is located a block or so south of Union Square on Broadway. It is a very large new and used bookstore, and I make it a point to stop in whenever I visit New York. On this particular day I bought about $220 worth of books, and it was a bargain. I had so many books we almost didn’t make it home that day.
