Our first night in camp we broke out the graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows and made ourselves some S’mores. This picture is extra special because this is Hyunjin’s very first S’more. I know, I know—how can you have a childhood without S’mores? Well, apparently it’s possible. In fact, entire nations of people grow up without S’mores. How are we ever going to achieve world peace if we can’t even spread the gospel of S’mores?
Oh, and in case you were wondering, those are chocolate graham crackers. Brian and I argued that true S’mores are made with traditional (plain) graham crackers, since you already have the chocolate, but Mom is a chocofreak, so that was pretty much the end of the argument. I guess we should be glad we didn’t have chocolate marshmallows too.
