In the evening we went to the Cort Theater and took our seats in the second row, right side. There were rules prohibiting photography during the performance, so I dutifully put my camera away once the curtain rose. But I did take a photo of HJ in front of the stage before the play started.
The play itself was quite good—darkly humorous, and with an ending that I did not see coming. The entire cast was excellent, although I’m sure a lot of people were there to see Daniel Radcliffe in particular. I’m not a member of the Harry Potter generation, so there was no fanboy reaction on my part (and I did not wait outside the stage door to get his autograph), but he’s a very skilled actor, and it was a treat to get to see him perform live.
