A Red Devil Story
This is my wife and I in full-dress uniform. I arrived at the scene at around one o'clock and stood in a long line of people waiting to be let into the street. The building behind us is City Hall, and the area where everyone is sitting is actually one of the biggest intersection in Seoul. At one o'clock they began sectioning off portions of the intersection, confining traffic to fewer and fewer lanes as the people poured in. By three o'clock all the roads had been blocked off, and the streets around City Hall and Gwanghwawun (the main gate of Gyeongbok Palace) were filled with around 400,000-500,000 people.
