A Red Devil Story
This is a picture of the stage where the pre-match festivities (for lack of a better word) were held. On the left is one of the many stacks of fourteen speakers that were hung from cranes—they were so loud that I felt the sound as much as I heard it.
From three o'clock, when the program officially started, until the match began, the stage was the center of attention. The activities alternated between singers and groups coming out to perform and “cheering practice.” There were a number of different cheers, and we practiced them all so we could cheer along with the Red Devils at the match.
