Liminality Wallpapers

This is a rather unique gallery. It is a collection of wallpaper-size images drawn from photos posted in other galleries here in the Imagery section. I will be selecting one photo each month to turn into a wallpaper—if you see a photo that you think would make a good wallpaper let me know, and I’ll keep it in mind when it comes time to make the decision.

There are two ways you can go about setting these pictures as your wallpaper. First, click on a thumbnail, just as you would in any other gallery. You can then either right click on the wallpaper size links and choose the appropriate menu option to save it to your computer. From there you can go through the steps manually to set it as your wallpaper. Also, some browsers let you set a picture as a wallpaper simply by right clicking on the picture itself and then selecting the appropriate menu option (In IE, for example, it is “Set as Background,” while in Firefox it is “Set as Wallpaper”).

Currently, there are four sizes available: 1280 x 960, 1152 x 864, 1024 x 768, and 800 x 600. I’ll add other sizes if there is sufficient demand.

(Note that you cannot click on the pictures in this gallery for larger versions; you must click on the size links in the caption to see the full-size pictures.)
