At the beginning of April, my wife and I decided to shake off the winter blues and head south. It didn’t turn out to be as warm as we had hoped, but the trip to Wando Island and Jeonju was a welcome break after being cooped up at home all winter.

On the first day we drove down to the southwestern end of the Korean peninsula. We thought of stopping by the southernmost point on the peninsula, but eventually elected to drive through to Wando Island. We spent the night and part of the next day there, and in the afternoon we drove up to Jeonju. The next morning we drove to Mt. Maisan before heading back home.
