Wando & Jeonju Trip: 2005
This is a concrete breakwater that stretched out into the ocean. It was built by stacking together these huge, four-pronged cement pieces that reminded me of caltrops. Apparently this is a very structurally sound design, as the breakwater gets hit with a lot of waves (thus the need for a breakwater) and shows no sign of budging.
