Continuing on from Eunsusa Temple to Tapsa Temple, you can see small stone piles in gouges in the cliff face (again, see the larger version for more detail). Hyunjin wondered if the builders climbed up the cliff face to build the piles, but I think it is more likely that they climbed down from the top using a rope. However it was done, it was undoubtedly no easy task.
