Wando & Jeonju Trip: 2005
These are the twin stone towers that stand behind the main temple building (you can see them in the background in the first photo of the temple). The 120 or so stone towers around the temple, including these two, were built over a ten-year period at the end of the 19th century by a man named Yi Gapyong as part of his discipline. Over a hundred years have passed since then, and not a single tower has fallen.
